Compression molding is one of the
first and widely used methods for fabrication of simple shapes such
as bushings, plates, rods, etc. which, following thermal treatment,
can be machined into finished parts. The essence of the compression
molding method is to produce a billet from loose PTFE powder as a
result of PTFE powder particles being compressed under pressure.
Then the billet is sent to a thermal treatment shop where
individual particles of PTFE powder are sintered to produce
continuous solid substance.
Ftoroplastoviye Tekhnologii
JSC has appropriate plant and equipment to produce PTFE billets
(rods, bushings, rings, plates) using the direct compression method
followed by billet sintering in ovens in a furnace room.
We have the capacity to fabricate
a wide range of PTFE bushings and rings. If you order a quantity
greater than 200 kg, we can make custom-size bushings.
The range of PTFE preforms is
constantly expanding.
We fabricate blanks made from PTFE
of the PN grade (Russian standard GOST 10007-80) in compliance with
the specifications TU 6-05-810-88, and PTFE-based compounds with
fillers such as glass powder, coke, molybdenum disulfide
(MoS2) in compliance with TU 6-05-1413-76.
We are currently working to
develop new mica- and schungite-filled compounds.
