Given unique characteristics of fluoroplastic, our company
has fabricated base plates for ironing applications. These base
plates can be used for:
- safe ironing of easily melted fabrics, starched linen and
wool without fabric sticking or burning;
- steam-ironing with less efforts needed to move the iron
across the surface due fluoroplastic's low coefficient of
friction.
In addition, the use of fluoroplastic (Teflon) helps avoid the
"glossy" effect after ironing.
The size of the base plate's working surface is 220 õ 130 mm.
The base plate's thickness is 1 mm. There are 1 mm steam holes
across the working surface area. The base plate is attached to an
iron with elastic steel wires at the front and rear of the iron's
handle.
