GOST10007-80 (guidelines applicable to fluoroplastic
powder)
Our company fabricates sealing rings (seats) for ball valves.
We produce PTFE seats for valves with DN 10-300 mm to be operated
under pressures of 6 to 20 MPa and seats made from PTFE compounds
(F4Ê20, F4Ê15Ì5, F5Ñ15, F5Ñ15Ì5) for valves to be operated under
pressures of 16 to 40 MPa.
Characteristics of some compounds:
F4Ñ15 - increased strength as compared to F4, including
improved pressure deformation characteristics, wear resistance,
chemical resistance and plug/ball surface "polishing" properties of
the material;
F4Ê15Ì5 - improved strength and reduced fragility as compared
to F4Ñ15; addition of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) leads
to formation of an additional protective coating on the mating
metal surface which increases wear and corrosion resistance of the
sealing seat and plug (ball); also, this compound has a better
coefficient of friction which reduces efforts required for valve
opening/closing. This compound is the material of choice for valves
operated in liquefied gas media.
All parts can be fabricated to Clients' drawings or technical
documents.
